Our educational speaker for this meeting will be Marilyn Cromer, MSW, with Gateway Counseling Center in Clinton. She will speak on the topic of Opioids, what Laurens County is doing about the Opioid epidemic from a substance use (treatment/prevention) standpoint, and resources available on proper disposal of unused prescription medications and other risk reduction interventions.
