An Evening with Dr. Tracy Cooper: Sensitive Men Rising – The Docuseries
Please join us for a meaningful and uplifting evening as international expert Dr. Tracy Cooper presents Sensitive Men Rising, a new docuseries exploring the lives, challenges, and strengths of highly sensitive men. This film is a heartfelt and thoughtful look at a trait that affects many people, yet is often misunderstood. Through film clips and conversation, Dr. Cooper will help us understand what it means to be highly sensitive—and why that matters in our families, relationships, and communities.
The film features personal insights and stories from well-known voices including actor Luke Goss, singer-songwriter Alanis Morissette, psychologist Dr. Scott Barry Kaufman, researcher Dr. Michael Pluess, and renowned sensitivity experts Drs. Elaine and Arthur Aron. Directed by Will Harper, the film also features Susan Crooks, founder of Walt’s Waltz.
This special event is dedicated to Walt Crooks, a gentle and beloved teacher who struggled quietly with mental health challenges. After Walt’s passing, his family created Walt’s Waltz to honor his life and help others find hope, healing, and community support.
The evening will be held on Friday, May 2, at the University Center Greenville Auditorium located at 225 S Pleasantburg Drive, Suite A-7, Greenville, SC 29607. Doors open at 6:00 PM and the program begins at 7:00 PM. Tickets are $10, and if the ticket price is too high, we warmly invite you to contact Susan Crooks at susan@waltswaltz.org for a free ticket code. We want everyone to feel welcome and included.
This event is especially inviting to seniors who may relate to the themes of reflection, sensitivity, and emotional insight. Whether you are coming to understand yourself or a loved one better, you are warmly welcomed to join us.
