Please join us on October 18th at 4:00 pm for the next installment of our quarterly speakers’ series with MUSC.

This talk will feature orthopaedic surgeons Dr. Harry Demos and Dr. Zeke Walton.

Dr. Harry Demos received his BS in computer science with an emphasis in bio engineering from Clemson University and his M.D. from the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC). Dr. Demos is a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon who specializes in joint replacement surgery. He joined the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at the MUSC and currently represents the department in multiple areas throughout MUSC Health, including his appointments to the health information services committee and EMR advisory board. Dr. Demos also serves as the medical director of the MUSC inpatient adult orthopaedic wards, 2 East and 7 West.

Dr. Zeke J. Walton is an orthopaedic surgeon specializing in orthopaedic oncology, including the treatment of bone and soft-tissue growths, both benign and malignant. He has specialized training in the treatment of bony metastatic disease, as well as all types of softtissue and bone sarcomas. His clinical interests include limb salvage surgery for all types of tumors of the extremities. Dr. Walton is a native of Greenville, South Carolina. He obtained his medical degree from the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC). Following the completion of his residency in orthopaedics at MUSC, Dr. Walton trained as a fellow in orthopaedic oncology at Emory University.
