Join the FAT TUESDAY fun at this New Orleans themed event on TUESDAY, March 5, 2019 at 7 pm at the Anderson Sports and Entertainment Center. Mardi Gras in the Electric City features a live dance band and food from local restaurants. More than 20 different restaurants and caterers will offer up bite-size portions of their specialties to create a “restaurant row” for guests. Perhaps you’ll visit with the fortune teller or spend some time in the photo booth. There really is something for everyone!
In addition to the great food, music, and drinks, both a silent and live auction will be available for guests. Items including gift cards, jewelry baskets, golf packages, entertaining baskets, and trips will be among the auction choices - just to name a few! All proceeds from the event go directly to Meals on Wheels to provide disabled and elderly homebound residents in Anderson County with a hot meal delivered straight to their door each weekday.
RESERVE A TABLE FOR 8, by purchasing a “TABLE of FRIENDS” sponsorship for $400. Your VIP table will be reserved with your name displayed on the table. This sponsorship also includes food and select beverages for 8. We are currently collecting items for the silent auction that will take place during the event. Individuals, businesses or groups who donate in-kind and/or auctions items will be recognized in our event program as well as on our Meals on Wheels – Anderson social media accounts. The item(s) you donate will help you gain exposure to the 500 plus guests at the event. Consider donating gift certificates (retail, spa services, dining, cosmetic), professional artwork, home decor, sports memorabilia, park passes, vacation rentals, and items for entertaining baskets (wine, glasses, unique dishes, tailgating items) and one-of-a-kind items or experiences.
