The Waterstone on Augusta and Patriot Healthcare invite you to attend our Alzheimer's Association Veterans Caregiver Support Group.

Support group is facilitated by Alan Poe, trained facilitator for the Alzheimer’s Association.

When: 2nd Tuesday of each month

Time: 1:30 p.m.

The Alzheimer's Association caregiver support groups are conducted by trained facilitators, are a safe place for people to develop a support system; exchange practical information on caregiving challenges and possible solutions; talk through issues; share feelings and concerns; learn about community resources. Our group is not exclusive for veterans and their families but does focus on veterans and their caregivers.

This support group is free with a focus for veterans and their families caring for a person with Alzheimer's or a related dementia. If you need an in-home care sitter in order to attend a group, learn how to access this service at no cost, by calling the Alzheimer's Association at least 2 weeks in advance at 800-272-3900.
