Join us as we begin a series that will take a "Deep Dive" into the "10 Ways to Love Brain" each month!

Sleep is crucial - but all too often, especially with older individuals, poor sleep quality is a symptom of poor sleep breathing. You can do all the right things with "Sleep Hygiene" but if you are snoring, waking up throughout the night to use the restroom, clenching or grinding your teeth, etc…these things can lead to lack of REM and deep sleep. You will learn about the importance of sleep on your cognitive abilities and about the cognitive consequences of poor sleep. Dr. Kip Covington treats sleep-disordered breathing from a dental perspective and has worked with various sleep physicians here in Greenville.

Everyone should take advantage of this opportunity; especially family caregivers...
