As we continue to "self isolate" during this pandemic, especially for the most vulnerable population, we may find ourselves getting antsy. We want to get out there and do things; however, we know that it may not be safe to do so. What does a person do if they cognitive impairment related to dementia? It isn't always easy for them to comprehend this new normal...this lack of their usual routine. This can become a safety issue if they leave their home and then become lost.

Have you ever wondered what happens when law enforcement begins a search for a missing vulnerable adult? Do you know what information you should have already on-hand if you ever need to make that call?
Please join Sgt. John Redman with the Greenville County Sheriff's Office as he explains what the department procedures are for when they receive a call for a missing person. There will be information on safety tips and some best practices that families can put into place.
