The Alzheimer’s Association’s newest program, New Advances in Alzheimer’s Treatment, was developed in response to the FDA’s recent granting of accelerated approval for aducanumab, marketed as Aduhelm, to treat Alzheimer’s in some individuals. The program addresses many common questions people may have about Aduhelm and discusses how Aduhelm differs from other treatments previously available.
After the program you will be able to:
• List FDA-approved treatments
• Understand the impact of aducanumab (Aduhelm) on amyloid plaques in the brain, its potential benefits and side effects
• Understand the pathways to access treatment
• Describe resources available through the Alzheimer’s Association
Class Credit Information
A Certificate of Completion is available to any participant wishing to receive one.
