The Healthy Living for Your Brain and Body: Tips from the Latest Research program of the Alzheimer’s Association is designed to provide current research and practical information on ways to take care of our bodies and brains as we age. The program is intended for individuals of any age who want to age as well as possible.
By the end of the program you should be able to:
• Identify the reasons for taking care of yourself as you age
• Understand what is known from research and what you can do to age well in four key areas:
o Physical health and exercise
o Diet and nutrition
o Cognitive activity
o Social engagement
• Make a personalized plan for healthy aging using the Healthy Living for Your Brain and Body Workbook.
This in-person program is designed to run approximately 1 hour including Q&A.
Class Credit Information
A Certificate of Completion is available to any participant wishing to receive one.
