Class Description

This course is designed to identify impairments related to a low-vision diagnosis. It provides discussion on how low vision will impact an older person’s ability to function independently and safely. It also covers interventions, strategies and planning, including the use of assistive devices, modification in the home setting and use of assistive technology.

Class Credit Information

CE Approvals: 1.0 credit hour for Nurses, Social Workers, Case Managers and Nursing Home Administrators
