Dementia Conversations: Driving, Doctor Visits, Legal & Financial Planning

When someone is showing signs of dementia, it's time to talk. Often, conversations with family about changing behaviors can be challenging and uncomfortable. This Alzheimer's Association program provides tips for breaking the ice with your family so you can address some of the most common issues that are difficult to discuss: going to the doctor for diagnosis or medical treatment, deciding when to stop driving, and making legal and financial plans for future care.

A Certificate of Completion is available to any participant wishing to receive one.

Participants may register by clicking on the program of interest in the attached flyer. OR, if preferred, please email Venita Olson at olsonvealz@gmail.com with your name, email address and a home or work zip code and she will complete your registration on the Alzheimer's Association website. Either way, you will receive an email confirmation with the Zoom link to access the program at the scheduled time.
