Learn about Alzheimer’s, dementia and memory loss in this brief community-focused listening session. We'll review the basics of these conditions, services of the Alzheimer's Association and how we can expand the reach of local programs and services. Bring a friend and share your thoughts about how the Alzheimer's Association can help more people in your community.
This presentation is in partnership with the Sisters Who Care. We will review resources and ways that you can make a difference in your own communities. Our guest speaker will be Juanita Wade, an Alzheimer's Association Support Group Facilitator and Community Educator. Juanita has managed many notable careers including elementary school teacher, non-profit executive manager, university lecturer and other roles in prevention of homelessness and improving academic and social outcomes for children, before retiring in 2014.
